The Steward must assist with banquet set-up needs including but not limited to plating and expediting banquet food in a timely manner.
Essential Functions:

) Review all Banquet Event Orders to ensure that the order has been filled and delivered to the correct room.
Cold food must be delivered 30 minutes before start of function.
Hot food must be delivered 30 minutes before start of function.
Assemble china, glass, and silver for each event.
Steward will assemble sets for all functions.
Set up hot boxes with plates and covers for each function.
Ensure dressings, sauces, and condiments are included with food delivery.
Clean and maintain stewarding equipment including hot boxes, speed racks, walls, and trashcans.
Must be task and detail oriented, energetic, able to follow specific direction and meet high physical demands.
Work in Dish & Pot Room as necessary.
Delivering dirty china, glass and silver to the dish room in a timely fashion.
Responsible for the cleanup of areas after each function.
Before leaving must have supervisor inspect area of work.
Assist with Loading speed racks for salads and pastry Production & hot boxes.
Responsible for notifying manager regarding:
Broken Equipment Safety Hazards KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Report to work on time with a clean uniform, name tag, and maintain appearance according to Nemacolin's Policies and Standards.
Must be flexible in scheduling; must be able to work holidays, nights and weekends.
Must be task and detail oriented, energetic, able to follow specific direction and meet high physical demands.
Must be able to communicate effectively and work as a team member.
Anticipate needs of other departments and act on them.
Be flexible to meet changing and/or multiple demands while staying calm under stress.
Be friendly, eager to learn and understand the importance of doing a good job.
